If you saw all the Rubbermaid totes of Christmas items I have been unpacking and placing (7 emptied so far!) about my house, you’d know that “ Christmas in the Making ”is no joke for me. It is a process I quite enjoy. I only wish I had a healthy dose of energy to accomplish the final results quicker. All the same, the end results come eventually-kind of like these cards. I shared the Blends images back in a November blog post and am just now getting to share the final cards. My apologies for the delay. I hope it was worth the wait.
I love this image of girl, presents, & cat (although I would love it to be a dog) and even think it could be a great birthday card image.
I think the color combination of Black, White & Bermuda Bay gives this card a bit of a vintage feel to fit with the stamped image.
Of course, Old Olive is more along traditional color lines for the holiday.
Framing things differently can give these images a fresh look. I love all the layered framelits Stampin’ Up! offers. The stitched framelits are one of my favorites.
A Merry Christmas in the Making would have to include making and mailing cards. I hope to get them all in the mail in the next three days. They are all created! Now to write, address, and mail. I’m a bit apprehensive this year as last month my mom received a card from me which my post office approved for regular postage and when she received it it was postage due for the difference between a forever stamp & the 70cent stamps. I hope none of my recipients get a postage due notice as I do get my p.o. to approve the rate. Apparently all post offices in the U.S. are not in agreement- sadly.
The last card share today and my wish for you…Merry Christmas! Or Holiday Wishes to those who celebrate other holidays this time of year. It is a great time of year of making, creating, and enjoying company.
As a year end celebration, Stampin’ Up! will be having an end of year sale as the holiday catalog products come to an end. They have to make room for some great new Occasions & Sale-a-Bration items in the new year.
