As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I get to see and order merchandise, like this great new Waterfront Stamp set, prior to the public release date. It is a fun perk, that I enjoy very much, especially at holiday time!
When you see this Stamp set on page 48 of the 2018 Occasions catalog, you may not at first think that it will create both simple and complex cards. But it does!
Check out some samples I’ve made:
I wanted to show how simply adding a few inks, paper, and just this set count make a cute card. Of course, I would probably add sentiments from other sets, but these could be left as is. The left card would be a great Christmas or Winter card. The right card would make a great Summer or vacation card.
Here’s a few more Winter themed cards using the small splatter dots from the Waterfront set for snow.
Or do you prefer the Summer scenes?
It has been pretty cold here, so I wouldn’t mind sitting beachfront or a warm area waterfront somewhere right now. Getting older means less tolerance of cold weather, I suppose.
I have a Stampin’ friend who just turned 40 and got engaged. I was playing with this set that day and decided to create a card for her. This is the result:
I used the Host(ess) set called In The City in conjunction with the Waterfront set.
I even stamped the inside with both sets.
I think these two sets go very well together. If you are thinking of placing a large Sale-A-Bration (SAB) order come January 3, 2018, a party or personal order over $150.00 (USD) would qualify for this set in addition to earning some great SAB freebies. It is the best time of the year to place large orders or host a party. Contact me if you need more details or need a Sale-A-Bration or Occasions catalog.
Until next time…
