I’m thankful to be back to post after a week long hospital stay & scheduled blog posts that didn’t quite go off as planned during a time when I could do little about it.
My days looked like this:
and these days led me to be VERY Grateful for those who donate blood so that I could get IVIG (Immune Globulin is a blood Plasma substance) for a combined Myasthenia Gravis & Systemic Lupus exacerbation. It takes thousands of donations to get enough IVIG for those hanging bottles and I had to get 5 days of infusions for this round. If there is continued success, I’ll be getting them as an outpatient on a regular basis to maintain energy, life, and breathing.
For all of you who donate blood-God bless you!
I hope to have my computer issues fixed for any future health issues which keep me from posting on a regular schedule. Unfortunately, I knew events like this could happen being a person with numerous health issues which can steal my energy and send my body into a tailspin. However, I thought my scheduled posts in advance would work as intended, having just applied a patch to fix a past scheduled post issue. Alas, computer glitches got me. *sigh* There is only so much one can do from a hospital bed and iphone when they feel super run-down.
On my last night in the hospital, I finally mustered enough energy to sit by my bedside, take the above photo (going to scrap this, of course!), and make a few cards from the Watercolor Wishes Kit. (Item#140406-$35.00USD)
Kits like this or Paper Pumpkin are perfect for this away from home kind of creativity. Hopefully, you’re not stuck in a hospital like I was, but even as a visitor in a waiting room it would be a nice thing to pass the time.
These Thank You cards I made with the Watercolor Wishes kit were just perfect for the Nurses & support staff who were there for me through the week- A personal touch I left behind for the person touches they provided throughout my stay.
While I’m still not well, I’m managing restful days at home. I’ll be taking it easy, trying to get posts that were missed organized and rescheduled and just taking each day as it comes as a blessing.
Thank you for visiting and reading this far 🙂
Until next time…
