Have you seen the many Swirly Scribbles ideas floating around the internet?
Today, I have a quick post to show yet another idea with this versatile set of Stampin’ Up! thinlets dies- A black cat. Just in time for Halloween AND National Cat Day in the U.S.A. -October 29th.
This card uses the Swirly Scribbles thinlets dies for the body and tail of the cat. I cut the barbs from the smaller circle to form the head and the tail piece was a ‘negative’ of that smaller circle also, leftover when cutting. The ears were hand cut triangles.
A little bling was added to the Swirly Scribbles flower and Wonderful Wreath framelits bow.
The Designer series paper is from the Pop of Pink collection. and is cut to 3.5″x5.5″ and matted onto basic black then offset onto a Pumpkin Pie card base.
The sentiment “Happy” from the Banners for You set was stamped and embossed in white onto a 1/2″x 1.75″ banner.
It is a simple card which any cat lover should enjoy; made easy by the some of the many dies available thru Stampin’ Up!
